Murgitroyd to Expand in Munich

7 August 2012

Murgitroyd is pleased to announce that it will be expanding its Munich operation in November 2012.

The firm's Munich branch along with it's 3 key attorney staff and 2 support staff will move to new larger premises on Hackerbrücke, which is just minutes' walk away from the European Patent Office's headquarters.

The move comes at a key time in the establishment of the European Unitary Patent, which, if this finally comes to fruition after years of debate over language issues and the overall framework for the new system, will have one of its key administrative and legislative sites in Munich (along with others in London and Paris).

The move thus puts Murgitroyd in an ideal position to capitalise on the new Unitary Patent system and the potential new business opportunities resulting from this.
