Carine Bicchierini’s core area of expertise is the field of electronics, software and mechanics. She developed drafting skills in these domains in both English and French. She is also experienced in drafting responses to office actions and legal assessments for the patentability of inventions.
Having been involved in many aspects of client management, Carine understands their needs and how best to take care of them in patent and commercial matters. She has been closely involved in the day-to-day practice of large client portfolios, and works on a multinational portfolio. She often prosecutes cases in countries including the US, China, India and others.
Carine has significant experience in searching patent-related information in electronics, software and mechanics. She worked for six years as a manager at Techwatch, she’s worked for one of the largest automotive equipment manufacturers worldwide, and she is experienced in all aspects of automotive security systems.
She has also developed tools, procedures and training sessions to disseminate patent information to research and development teams, and produced competitor patent portfolio analyses for use by marketing departments.
Carine’s scientific background includes a MSc Physics and a Postgraduate diploma in scientific information management from the University of Aix-Marseille (France).
Carine joined Murgitroyd in 2004. She’s based in Nice and is moving towards being fully qualified in Europe.
