Mark Green is dual-qualified in UK and European patent and trade mark law. As a consultant in the patents field, he advises companies in the chemical, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. On the trade mark side, he has considerable expertise in all areas of practice before the UK registry, involving both contentious and non-contentious work, notably in the fashion and beauty industries. Complementing his work in trade marks and patents is a comprehensive knowledge and practice in the fields of industrial design protection. Mark mentors our junior attorneys in commercial brand practice.
Before working as a consultant, Mark was a Partner in UDL from 1994 until his retirement from full time practice in 2020.
Prior to joining UDL in 1990, Mark worked in industry for five years at a major consumer products multinational. He spent a year in the USA, gaining direct experience dealing with the US Patent Office.
