Natalie Watt

Natalie joined Murgitroyd in 2016 as a paralegal in the Glasgow office. She has worked with many clients in the chemistry and life sciences sector, along with several electronics and mechanical firms.

Providing paralegal support throughout the patent prosecution process, Natalie is responsible for handling day-to-day deadline management and attending to legal requirements of patent applications worldwide from filing to grant. Her duties are wide-ranging and varied due to the particular requirements of each jurisdiction and she keeps Applicants updated on the progress of their applications, providing a flexible service tailored to clients’ preferences.

In addition to patent prosecution matters, Natalie also attends to assignment recordals and the filing of design applications. Natalie is always happy to assist with your IP needs and queries.

In July 2022, Natalie was also appointed New Client Onboarding Coordinator. Her responsibilities include setting up check lists and requirements for onboarding, ensuring sufficient information is received from clients or agents, liaising with patent offices as required, obtaining relevant signature documents and liaising with regional heads for paralegal capacity and support.
