Terry Devlin has a BEng (Hons) Engineering degree from the University of Ulster where he furthered his studies by spending four years doing postgraduate research at The Northern Ireland Bio-Engineering Centre at the same university. Terry’s core area of expertise lies in engineering, in particular general mechanical engineering, agricultural and recycling machinery, injection moulding and composites processing, automotive engineering and medical implant devices. Having also studied at Western Michigan University College of Aviation and worked for a number of national airlines, Terry has also developed a specialism in aeronautical engineering including aircraft systems and power plants.

Terry spent five years working in private practice before returning to Northern Ireland and joining Murgitroyd’s Belfast office in 2010. Terry is currently based in the firm’s Aberdeen office and works with UK, Irish, European and international patent applications in the fields of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering.
