Murgitroyd Takes Part in Cycling Challenge for Breast Cancer Care

Some photos of Murgitroyd staff and special guests tackling the Tour de Scotland!

Last Wednesday and Thursday (11-12 October) Murgitroyd took part in the Tour de Scotland, an annual office-based cycling race that raises money for Breast Cancer Care Scotland.

It was an incredible and challenging two days but we are delighted to say that after completing our 64 slots we managed to cycle an incredible 509.57km which means we finished 7th on the leader board! It was a great effort from all the cyclists, cheerleaders and donators – thank you to each and every one of you!

Special thanks also to Sweat Gym which provided the bike for our challenge and also to our Insurance Brokers, MacKay Corporate, who joined our cycle team during the event – very well done in particular to David MacKay of MacKay Corporate who cycled an incredible 10.61km in his 15-minute slot!

We were also delighted to host family members of staff during the two day event who provided important moral support and additional funds to boost our totals. Thank you also to all of you
