After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Physical Science, Beth Marshall undertook a PhD in Systems Biology at the University of Aberdeen. Her research involved using the principles of statistical mechanics to develop mathematical models and simulations of messenger RNA in budding yeast.
Beth joined Murgitroyd’s Aberdeen office in 2014, after completing her PhD. She now works on patent drafting and prosecution in several jurisdictions, primarily the UK, Europe, and the US. Her technological experience includes renewable energy technology, marine equipment, oil and gas technology (including downhole tools, wellbore cleaning, risers, valves), and medical devices.
Beth is dual qualified as both a European patent attorney and also a UK Patent Attorney.
