DRM is more commonly associated with music and films but hackers have cracked the DRM system on the Keurig 2.0 espresso machines.
Nearly every kitchen in the country has some sort of coffee machine these days. The machines themselves are, generally, not too expensive but the pods to make the coffee are where the companies make their money back.
Hackers discovered that you can use cheaper, no-brand pods whilst having the lid of a pre-used pod taped to the sensor of the machine.
