First IP100 League Table
Murgitroyd are proud to sponsor the IP100 League Table, which is a new way to rank companies based on their strength and track record in exploiting their IP assets.
Data Conversion Systems have been refining digital-to-analogue conversion for 25 years and displayed “exceptional IP management techniques and it has implemented strong IP-led processes which are designed to build value for shareholders.”
Lux Assure, who operate in the oil and gas sector and are based in Edinburgh, were ranked second on the list with Speech Graphics, who deliver facial animation technology to the entertainment industry, third.
Stephen Robertson, founder of IP advisory firm Metis Partners and co-founder of the IP league table, said: “Managing IP and recognising it as one of a business’s core assets is becoming increasingly important and both lenders and investors already recognise its significance in underpinning a robust and scalable business model.
“Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, headline sponsors of the IP League Table, recognise the value of IP and have been lending to IP-rich businesses for many years”.
Bryan Hoare, Managing Director of BQ who co-founded the IP league table, added: “Quite simply the IP League Table aims to assist SME’s across the UK to realise the true potential and value of their intellectual property.
Murgitroyd’s Fiona McKenzie, European Marketing Manager, commented: “We are delighted to see investment in IP highlighted in this way, and encourage businesses from all sectors to get involved”. For more information, please contact Fiona McKenzie.
