Anthony Li joined Murgitroyd in June of 2021 as a Patent Scientist within the Chemistry team. Anthony’s background is in chemistry and pharmaceuticals and recently spent a year in private practice within the mechanical and electronic sectors.

After completing a Master’s Degree in Drug Chemistry at Newcastle University, Anthony worked in the chemical industry both as a research & development chemist and a chemical manufacturing chemist and has experience working both in and outside of the UK (India and China). Anthony then moved into professional services for Higher Education in support of Intellectual Property matters, before starting his career in the IP profession. He is a part-qualified patent attorney, currently working towards becoming fully qualified in the UK and Europe. He is also a student member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorney (CIPA).

Anthony is working in Murgitroyd’s London – Croydon Office.
