Chloe specialises in innovations relating to the chemistry, materials science, and engineering fields. She holds a Ph.D. in lead-free piezoelectric ceramics.
Outside of her strong academic achievements, Chloe spent three years working as a materials technologist and testing technician in the kitchenware industry. During her Ph.D., Chloe completed a six-month work experience at Ionix Advanced Technologies as a ceramics manufacturing technician.
Chloe was also a member of the Student and Early Careers Committee for the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining (IOM3) for three years. In this role, she organised and chaired the inaugural Future Materials Conference for material scientists and engineers.
Chloe joined Murgitroyd in 2022 after completing her Ph.D. She is now working to qualify as a Chartered and European Patent Attorney.
Core Expertise: chemistry, materials science, piezoelectric materials, defect chemistry, XRD characterisation, and impedance spectroscopy.
