Kromek and Corex Take Top Spots in IP100 League Table

IP100 LEAGUE TABLEMurgitroyd is delighted to announce that Kromek and Corex have taken the top two spots in the latest release of the Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks IP100 League Table.

The Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks IP100 League Table is free to enter and provides a new platform to rank and profile companies according to their IP wealth. Murgitroyd is proud to be a sponsor  of the initiative, together with IP100 founders Metis Partners and BQ Magazine and co-sponsor Jumpstart.

Kromek, a leading developer of radiation solutions based in Sedgefield, County Durham, grabbed top spot thanks to their excellent performance in the software IP asset class and for the impressive management of their patent portfolio. The company’s strong trade mark portfolio and management of their brand and reputation were also vital to securing first place.

Aberdeen-based COREX, who provide specialist services primarily in the analysis of geological samples for the oil and gas industry, finished second after performing well in the Brand and Reputation and Critical Databases classes.

Metail, a London-based company which allows you to try on clothes online after inputting three body measurements, finished in third.

Stephen Robertson, founder of IP specialists Metis Partners said, “The IP League Table gives SMEs recognition for the IP they’ve created. This is a unique opportunity to benchmark your company as IP-savvy and demonstrate to the world how IP-rich your company is.”

Murgitroyd ‘s Fiona McKenzie, Marketing Manager, commented : “It’s fantastic to be involved with this innovative and value-filled  initiative which several of our clients are already deriving benefit from. I would encourage all IP-rich businesses to enter the League, and to be recognised for the investment they have made in their IP”.
