Evelyn Shepherd

Evelyn Shepherd joined Murgitroyd in 1997 to provide secretarial support and was given the added responsibility of managing an office of our network of offices.

Evelyn joined the Patent Paralegal team in March 2016 to support the Chem/bio department. Evelyn is now a Senior Patent Paralegal. She is based in our Glasgow Office.

Evelyn’s day-to-day responsibilities include providing patent administrative including deadline management of cases. Further tasks include handling assignment recordals; preparing form 3 information for India; monitoring and providing cited documents for Information Disclosure Statements in the US and Israel; attending to examination requests and publication of applications.

Evelyn was made Internal Training Coordinator in July 2022. She is responsible for tracking paralegal completed training and required training, liaising with team leaders regarding new topics for training, researching and noting updates to law changes and ensuring training requirements are met.

In July 2025, Evelyn was named a Patent Paralegal – Team Leader Scotland.
