
Freya Buckett
Patent Scientist
Freya Buckett holds a first-class degree in Chemistry and Physics from Durham University.
Her dissertation focused on Laser-induced Electron Diffraction, providing her with expertise in analysing new technology within interdisciplinary fields.
With technical knowledge across both subject areas, she works on a range of electronic, mechanical, and chemical inventions.
She completed an internship with the Electronics Patent team at Murgitroyd as part of the 10-week European Patent Pipeline Program (EPPP), during which she worked closely with experienced patent professionals in both private practice and in-house settings.
Freya joined Murgitroyd in September 2025 as a Patent Scientist, working within both the Chemical and Electronics groups. She is currently training to qualify as a UK and European Patent Attorney.
