Laird Cawood

Chief Financial Officer

Laird is an experienced CFO with over 25 years of senior finance experience, the majority of which has been spent in high-growth PE-backed technology businesses. He has overseen two successful PE exits and 40+ acquisitions in a career that has focused on growth and maximising value in a constant state of change and evolution.

He was most recently CFO at Babble Cloud, growing the business from 30 to 480 staff, £7m to £100m+ revenue, and nil to £20m+ EBITDA over a 6-year period. He previously held senior leadership roles at Accelya and Dealogic.

Laird is a Chartered Accountant with a degree in Law.  Outside of work, he volunteers as an amateur boxing coach in a community club for young people and enjoys spending time with his young family.

Laird is based in London but regularly spends time at our Glasgow headquarters.
