Laura Fè

A chemistry and materials specialist, Laura Fe’s experience extends across a broad range of chemistry-related subjects, including pharmaceutical technology, polymer chemistry and chemical engineering.

Laura’s practice centres on patent prosecution and opposition before the EPO. In her leading role within our oppositions group, Laura coordinates our opposition activities and has extensive experience in defending and opposing patents before both the EPO’s opposition division and Boards of Appeal.

Laura also has first-hand experience with due diligence work, as well as infringement and invalidity studies to support European product launches.

Having worked in-house for global companies across a wide range of technologies, Laura is well-practised in understanding the dynamics and IP-related needs of a variety of corporate clients. She is versatile, able to provide personalised advice and define strategic approaches that transform innovations into defendable assets that maintain their value.

Prior to joining Murgitroyd, Laura worked as a patent attorney in the pan-European IP practice Kador & Partner and as IP departmental head at Chiesi Farmaceutici, as well as in-house patent counsel with General Electric and Novartis.

Laura is a Director, Patents and part of our leadership team. She has been an Epi Tutor since 2011.

Laura Fe was appointed Munich office lead in 2023.
