Patent Paralegal Team Leader - North East & North Central England

Natasha Haley is a skilled professional with experience as a Patent Paralegal. Currently serving as the Patent Paralegal Team Leader for the North East & North Central England.

Natasha’s day-to-day responsibilities revolve around maintaining effective relationships with clients and foreign associates worldwide and liaising with other department Heads. Her well-established communication skills, honed through her educational and professional experience, enable her to liaise with clients and foreign associates, as well as communicating directly with patent offices worldwide, ensuring the smooth progress of filings, responses, and other crucial aspects of the patent process.

As a team leader, Natasha manages the day-to-day management of a team of Paralegals and patent support team members across for the North East & North Central England.

Natasha is experienced in all aspects of paralegal responsibilities – preparing and filing formalities documents, reporting and monitoring deadlines, producing IP schedules including cost forecasts.  Natasha’s experience extends to supporting the onboarding of new clients and the standardisation of work in the Patent Paralegal department. She manages patent and design portfolios, liaising closely with attorneys, as well as managing co-ordination with outside counsel and clients to ensure that clients’ IP prosecution needs are implemented in an accurate and timely manner.

Further tasks include providing IP portfolio schedules, handling transfers of rights, preparing cost estimates for assignment recordal programmes and attending to the recordal of assignments worldwide. She also monitors and provides cited documents for Information Disclosure Statements and prepares Form 3 information for Indian patent applications.

Natasha is also a member of Murgitroyd’s Trailblazer Team a committee focussed on colleague engagement and living into our company values of trust, unity and confidence. The Trailblazers Group organises initiatives throughout the year to support our ESG goals.

Natasha is based in our York Office.
