Murgitroyd has once again been named among the Financial Times’ Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms, marking the eighth consecutive year that the firm has been recognised in the prestigious ranking.

Among the 222 firms recognised this year, Murgitroyd is one of only eight to achieve “Gold” rankings across all six areas of expertise, maintaining its Gold-rated status in every category and placing it among Europe’s highest-rated patent firms. Murgitroyd is also one of only four UK-founded firms to achieve this distinction.

Compiled by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista, the annual ranking identifies Europe’s most highly recommended patent law firms based on recommendations from clients and industry peers.

Murgitroyd received “Gold” ratings in:

•    Biotechnology, Food & Healthcare
•    Chemistry & Pharmacy
•    Electrical Engineering & Physics
•    IT & Software
•    Mechanical Engineering
•    Materials & Nanotechnology

The Financial Times ranking is based on recommendations gathered from patent attorneys working in private practice and industry, as well as clients who have instructed patent law firms. The research focuses on patent prosecution and patent strategy consultation services and is widely regarded as one of the most respected benchmarks of excellence within the European intellectual property profession.

This latest recognition highlights the breadth of Murgitroyd’s technical expertise and the firm's continued commitment to delivering exceptional intellectual property services across a diverse range of technologies and industries.
