Martin Connors has over 20 years’ experience in the medical, engineering and manufacturing sectors. Martin spent over 19 years with the in-house department of a multinational FTSE 100 healthcare company. In that time Martin gained a deep understanding of the medical device sector and in particular the patent issues in the field of orthopaedics, endoscopy and wound management. A key part of Martin’s role is on product launch strategy advising clients on third party IP rights and managing risks. Martin can apply his extensive experience to give straight forward commercially focussed advice.

Martin has managed multinational litigations and oppositions, including at Appeal level.

Martin is also an Examiner for the UK Patent Examination Board, the authority that sets the qualifying exams to qualify as a Chartered Patent Attorney (UK).
