Laurence Cheney

Head of Clients

À la tête du programme stratégique clients de Murgitroyd, Laurence Cheney contribue à faire de l’expérience client et de la compréhension des attentes et des besoins des clients des leviers de différenciation et de croissance pour le cabinet. Elle travaille en étroite collaboration avec les équipes afin que les retours des clients nourrissent la réflexion stratégique, soutiennent l’amélioration continue et favorisent la construction de partenariats durables.

Laurence a conçu et développé le programme de retour d’expérience et de connaissance client de Murgitroyd. Son ambition est de valoriser pleinement la voix du client pour éclairer les orientations du cabinet et contribuer à l’excellence de ses services.

Forte de plus de vingt ans d’expérience dans le domaine de la propriété intellectuelle, elle a exercé des responsabilités variées dans la traduction de brevets, la coordination des validations de brevets européens, le développement commercial, le marketing et l’expérience client. Ce parcours lui a permis d’acquérir une compréhension approfondie des enjeux tant opérationnels que commerciaux de la propriété intellectuelle, ainsi qu’une réelle sensibilité aux besoins des organisations innovantes soucieuses de protéger et de valoriser leurs actifs immatériels.

Reconnue pour son approche stratégique et son leadership collaboratif, Laurence excelle dans l’art de transformer les observations, les retours d’expérience et les tendances émergentes en actions concrètes et en améliorations mesurables. Elle s’intéresse particulièrement à l’exploitation de la connaissance client et des technologies innovantes pour enrichir la qualité de service, éclairer la prise de décision et créer une valeur durable pour les clients comme pour le cabinet.

Chartered Marketer, elle attache une grande importance à l’apprentissage continu et au développement professionnel tout au long de sa carrière. Elle contribue activement aux réflexions menées au sein des communautés de l’écoute client et de l’expérience client à travers des publications spécialisées, des réseaux professionnels et divers projets collaboratifs. Elle porte également un intérêt marqué aux opportunités offertes par l’intelligence artificielle pour accompagner l’évolution des services professionnels.

Depuis plus de cinq ans, Laurence est co-responsable du réseau écossais d’IP Inclusive. À ce titre, elle a contribué à son essor et à son positionnement comme le réseau régional le plus actif de l’organisation. Elle est profondément engagée dans la promotion de l’équité, de la diversité et de l’inclusion au sein de la profession de la propriété intellectuelle.
