Natalie joined Murgitroyd in 2016 as a paralegal in the Glasgow office. As a Senior Patent Paralegal, Natalie provides paralegal support throughout the patent prosecution process, handles day-to-day deadline management, and attends to the legal requirements of patent applications worldwide from filing to grant for large corporate clients, particularly in the US and in the chemistry and life sciences, electronic, and mechanical sectors.
Her duties are wide-ranging and varied due to the particular requirements of each jurisdiction and she keeps Applicants updated on the progress of their applications, providing a flexible service tailored to clients’ preferences.
In July 2022, Natalie was also appointed as the New Client Onboarding Coordinator. This position involves providing flexible service to clients’ preferences, consolidating patent portfolios, and handling case transfers, ensuring a smooth transition to working with Murgitroyd.
The following year, in July 2023, Natalie was named as the Patent Paralegal Team Leader for Scotland, leading the Paralegal and Patent Support Teams in our Glasgow and Aberdeen offices.
Finally, as of May 2024, Natalie has assumed the role as the Lead of Trailblazers, an internal group within Murgitroyd, working to foster our company culture and support our company values of trust, unity and confidence through regular initiatives focusing on the well-being and engagement of all colleagues.
