Chris Lester

Chris Lester holds a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Bath and a PhD in physics from the University of Bristol. His PhD research focussed on using neutron scattering techniques to study iron- and copper-based superconductors. Chris has published scientific papers relating to charge ordering of copper-based superconductors, magnetic dynamics of high-Tc superconductors, and spin density wave phases in quantum meta-magnetic systems.

Chris joined Murgitroyd in March 2022 and is a European Patent Attorney working in the Electronics group from the Belfast Office. Before joining Murgitroyd, Chris spent three years examining UK patent applications relating to electrical and computing technologies at the UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO).
