
Dafydd Collins
Trainee Trade Mark Attorney
Dafydd Collins began his intellectual property career at the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) in November 2007 as a Tribunal Caseworker. After 18 months in the role, he moved into trade mark examination, where he spent a further 18 months before being seconded to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) as a Seconded National Expert.
During his five years at the EUIPO (2011–2016), Dafydd gained valuable international experience in trade mark practice and procedure. On returning to the UKIPO, he served as a Trade Mark Examination Hearing Officer for four years before taking on the role of Tribunal Hearing Officer, a position he held for a further two years.
Dafydd joined Murgitroyd in September 2026. He is currently training to qualify as a Trade Mark Attorney.
