Jay Cook specialises in mechanical engineering, with a focus on the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors.

His post-graduate research project focused on numerically and experimentally investigating the effectiveness of the Acoustic Emission technique, establishing a relationship between soft body impact characteristics on composite turbine blades.

Jay is currently working towards becoming a qualified UK and European patent attorney. He joined Murgitroyd in 2022.
