Kyle Sandilands holds a Masters degree in Physics from the University of St Andrews. His dissertation focussed on using molecular beam epitaxy in an attempt to grow atomically thin monolayers of CrTe2, a material that is thought as a potential 2-dimensional magnet.

Kyle joined Murgitroyd in September of 2021 as a Patent Scientist working in the Mechanical group, starting his journey towards becoming a fully qualified UK and European Patent Attorney.

Kyle is based in Murgitroyd’s Aberdeen office.
