Senior Patent Attorney
Richard Jackson joined Murgitroyd in September 2020 and is based in our Southampton Office. Richard is part of the electronics team.
The main focus of Richard’s day-to-day work is UK, US and European patent drafting and prosecution, helping clients identify and protect their inventions. Richard is well versed in a variety of technologies, mainly in electronics, control systems, telecommunications and computer science. Before joining Murgitroyd Richard has spent almost 12 years working as an in-house patent attorney providing a practical, commercially-focussed approach to intellectual property matters.
Richard is skilled in many aspects of Intellectual Property including patent drafting, patent prosecution, infringement, product clearance, portfolio management and opinion work.
