Sarah Stevenson

Sarah is based in our York office and is part of the wider patent paralegal team. She joined Murgitroyd in January 2020 after spending seven years in IP practice, predominantly in a high-tech and electrical department.

She began her career as a trainee patent secretary, gaining valuable experience with British, European and PCT patent applications. She is also experienced in filing design applications at both the UKIPO and the EUIPO. Her work ranges from general day-to-day case management to more specific projects such as filing large portfolio assignments and the onboarding of new clients. Sarah has also spent several years training new patent administrators and providing support to trainee attorneys at the beginning of their careers.
