Success for the EPPP at the Social Impact Awards 2024

We are excited to share that the European Patent Pipeline Program (EPPP) has been recognised as the Inclusive Recruitment Programme of the Year 2024 at the Legal Benchmarking Social Impact Awards.
Murgitroyd collaborated with fellow IP law firm Kilburn & Strode to launch the European Patent Pipeline Program (EPPP) in 2023, and provides final and penultimate year STEM students to gain an unique opportunity to experience life as a patent attorney.
This recognition demonstrates the commitments of the firms stood out among others, showcasing a dedication to creating an environment where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued, respected, and empowered to join the legal community and do their best work.
Catherine Bonner - Director, Patents comments:
''We are excited to receive the award and thrilled that the EPPP has been recognised. The impact this programme is testament to the hard work that has gone into the programme and the support of colleagues at both founding firms.
We are looking forward to growing the programme to increase diversity within the profession, working with the additional firms that have now joined us, we can now offer even more opportunities to those who may not otherwise have had access to learn about the IP profession.''
