Murgitroyd has retained its strong positions in the latest The Legal 500 UK rankings, with continued recognition for our patent and trade mark expertise.

Continued recognition of our expertise

The Legal 500 rankings are informed by independent research and feedback from clients, making continued recognition an important reflection of the expertise and service our teams provide.

This year’s editorial commentary recognises the work of our teams across both patents and trade marks.

The Legal 500 describes Murgitroyd’s patent team as:

“Experienced in assisting with patent strategy, portfolio management, and development, as well as with enforcement in both domestic and international contexts.”

Our trade mark practice is also described as:

“Well-versed in handling an array of trade mark matters, both contentious and non-contentious, for well-known clients” across a range of industries.''

The rankings also recognise the breadth of our regional IP offering. Our Yorkshire team is noted for its experience across patents, trade marks and designs, while our Wales team is recognised for advising on a broad range of patent matters across sectors including automotive, chemistry, life sciences, health and telecoms.

Retaining these rankings is particularly meaningful because The Legal 500 research includes feedback from clients who have worked with the firms it assesses.

We’re pleased to see the work of our teams recognised again this year, and particularly grateful to the clients who took the time to provide feedback.

Congratulations to everyone recognised in this year’s rankings.
