Derek Healy

Derek Healy joined Murgitroyd in August 2021 following the acquisition of Hanna Moore + Curley by Murgitroyd. Derek, since joining as an intern, has received Certificates in Patent Administration from the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and Trade Mark Administration from the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.

Derek is an experienced Trade Mark Paralegal who can attend to all aspects of trade mark support. He works with a wide range of clients, including multinationals with large portfolios, SMEs, and universities. Derek is an integral part of our EU Trade Mark Support Team and has particular experience in preparing and filing trade mark applications in the European Union and worldwide and in preparing and filing European design applications.

Derek also has extensive experience in preparing and processing applications and supporting documents for filing International, European, and foreign patent applications and validating European patent applications in each EP country.

Derek is based in our Dublin office.
