Laura Townend

Laura is a highly skilled Senior Patent Paralegal and her day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and processing worldwide patent applications, reporting and monitoring deadlines, preparing and filing formalities documents at various Patent Offices, preparing IP schedules and providing upcoming cost projections. She also processes the transfers of patents and changes to the national/regional registers at various Patent Offices.

Laura works closely with several in-house client teams, developing strong relationships to provide a tailored and timely paralegal service.

In addition to her paralegal responsibilities, Laura was instrumental in guiding the development of a patents management database due to her long-standing expertise and legal knowledge.   

Laura is based in our Leeds office, and she is a “go to” Paralegal for her Patent Attorney colleagues.
