Ruby Smith has a Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. Her thesis focussed on cytochrome P450 enzymes and their oxidation of nitrogen heterocycles. She utilised computational docking to enhance product selectivity, thereby facilitating further research on their application as catalysts.

Ruby joined Murgitroyd in September 2021 as a Patent Scientist working in the Chemical & Biotech group.

Ruby is based in our London Central office.
