IP STARS 2026 Top Tier Firm

The latest IP STARS rankings from Managing IP celebrate another successful year for Murgitroyd's patent practice, with firm rankings across multiple jurisdictions and individual recognition for several patent attorneys.

This announcement accompanies our latest IP STARS recognition for Murgitroyd's trade mark team, highlighting the firm's expertise across both patent and trade mark practice.

Wendy Crosby, Annette Flaherty and Barry Moore have once again been recognised as Patent Stars, while Robert Borner, Rick de Zeeuw, Robert Ljungberg and Guido Zerbi have each achieved Patent Star recognition for the first time.

Terence Broderick, Anne Marie Carr, Clare Collins, Johnny Cray and Aaron Lucas have been recognised as Rising Stars, reflecting the breadth of emerging talent across the firm's patent practice.

Laurence Bibow, Nicole Cordy, Elspeth Doyle and Michele Fratti have once again been recognised as Notable Practitioners.

Alongside the individual recognitions, as a firm, Murgitroyd's patent practice has been recognised across multiple jurisdictions:

  • Scotland: Tier 1 for Patent Prosecution
  • England: Tier 3 for Patent Prosecution
  • Ireland: Tier 1 for Patent Prosecution
  • New recognitions as an Other Notable Firm for patent work in Finland, France, Germany, and Italy.

These rankings reflect the depth of expertise across Murgitroyd's patent team and its commitment to helping clients protect innovation across a broad range of technologies and industries.
